In keeping with our country's fine tradition of pursuing terrorists who might not exist, and the RIAA's strategy of suing people for files that don't exist, Microsoft is suing an unknown hacker for developing a program that strips Windows Media DRM, allowing you to use your media as you like. This goes along well with the MPAA's plan to use dogs to sniff out pirated DVD's. We're still waiting for the explanation regarding how they smell a difference between regular shipments of DVD's, and those that are pirated.
