09/10/2006:"I'm Running Away to Join the Circus..."

..after seeing this amazing video (The Little Girl Giant) from the Royal de Luxe theatre's The Sultan's Elephant (La visite du sultan des Indes sur son éléphant à voyager dans le temps), a traveling show about a time-traveling elephant. Apparently the company is very well-known in continental Europe, but only appeared in the UK this year. The eerie juxtaposition of La Balayers Du Desert's "Decollage" (mp3 download page here, if you like it) and a giant little girl marionette kind of put me in dreamland.
