If you're a working stiff like most of us, you probably already knew that an hour of your time as a wage slave is worth less than it was in the past. Since the government operates at a deficit most of the time (they've gone from a $5.6 trillion surplus to a $7.8 trillion deficit in four years) why can't we, as citizens, do the same? Just tell everyone that whatever you owe them is in a ten-year financial recovery plan you're working on. We might need options like this, with a growing trade deficit and some possible competition from overseas....

By the way. Your legal tender's no good here anymore.
