| I was a little stiff when
I did my Bill O`Reilly appearance and he shouldn't have brought up all
of those palimony suits. Oh, well. Thanksgiving 2002, huh? I wonder
if airline prices to Iraq are cheap right now? At least our president
is consistent in trying to get EVERY Arab in the world to hate America.
After 9/11, I still felt safe, but bombing a piddly little country like
Iraq and killing innocent Iraq's won't allow any of us to be safe ever
again. No matter how much progress they make towards putting inspectors
in, the White House keeps spewing the same rhetoric, "the only way to
control their oil is to remove Saddam." Make solar energy, not war!

| First: That screen shot in
your link is almost as bad as "The Hustler" when it's lopped off at
the edges. (Which, by the way, is the cause of those weird stretched
titles in spaghetti westerns. It was okay to slice the images off at
the sides, but heaven forbid the same should happen to the credits....)
Second: Did you go listen to Ashcroft singing? It's awe-inspiring. Or
something.

| Terry- You are so right. We
should get in focus here. Before we do though, I have to say: PLEASE
refrain from mentioning Mr. Ashcroft & nudity in the same sentence.
Not only does it evoke a disturbing image, it may offend him. By the
way, I bet you didn't know he's a phenomenal
singer. (If that link doesn't work, try
this one.)

| I have officially gone off
the deep end. We need our own community standards. Maybe we should just
focus on the growth of this site and our other endeavors. Our rants
might make us targets of the conservative, right-winged nazis and the
liberal lunk-heads. We just want a peaceful world to live in so we can
make our music and movies and eat pizza. Where is the love?

qualify as porn? Was that a porn link you posted below? tsk tsk. In
the interest however, of failing to abide by rules or standards, here's
some more GW Bushbashing. It's the "write

I know we agreed the *** bashing was like "shootin' fish in a barrel", but this was a real gem, as he was talking to elementary school kids on the big "Pledge Across America" day. "There is an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, prob'ly in Tennessee, that says, 'Fool me once .....................[blank stare].............................. shame on .......................[confused lower-primate face]........................... shame on you ............................... it fooled me you can't get fooled again'......." If you think I'm exaggerating the pauses, here's the audio: Real (35kb, should stream), or mp3 (330kb, download) I'm still trying to get a video copy, if you run across it. |

and the Writer's Guild are taking action against them. I couldn't find
the link, but I will look for it. If they got ahold of "HYBRID" there
would only be a series of scared reaction shots left. Though, there
won't be any swears or smoking in my movies, so maybe conservative people
wouldn't even notice the nudity and bloody letting.

| America doesn't have the high
moral ground it used to and should tread a little more carefully. I
would fight a country that forced it's will and religion on everyone
too. There is no one more obnoxious than a fanatical Christian fundamentalist!
Iraq is resisiting "McWorld" and the invasion of bible toting, buck-toothed,
inbreds from the good old U.S of A. Organized religion needs to sat
in the church or in the home. I don't read my porn on the subway or

but I thought maybe while we ponder the tragedies of September 11, 2002,

Intense Terry (See below), but I've already grieved a lot about this, and think we should all be on "High Alert" for the protection of our civil liberties, before we grieve them as well. Personally, a year later, I'm more irritated than anything, as I watch the idiotic exploration on the part of media companies who can't decide whether to advertise on "The Anniversary" or not. To revive the buzzwords from earlier this year, "If we don't advertise on September 11, they've already won..." That's all I'm going say, I think, in response to the post below. I'm more fascinated by this evidence that the ENTIRE *** FAMILY is on crack, not just the brothers in office. |

| Last year at this time, I
was celebrating six months of sobriety and attending classes at a community
college. I had spent many years trying to ruin my life and was starting
to work, for the first time, to live a better life and be a better man.
It was tough being in my thirties and going to school. It was tough
living in the suburbs after 8 wild years in NYC, and it was especially
tough moving out of Chinatown, away from a neighborhood I adored. I
was glad to go at the time. I needed to. I needed to move ahead because
my time in the city had become a cage and I was not evolving. On the
morning of September 11th, I was passing through the cafeteria between
classes when I saw a crowd gathered in front of the television. I stopped
to see what was going on and I nearly passed out. My breath escaped
me and my heart raced. I knew right away what was really happening and
I was not surprised, just shocked that it was finally happening. I spent
the next two weeks watching CNN non-stop. My wife forced me to do other
things. I spent a few hours of every day crying; not for myself, but
for the world we lived in. It was difficult to see the neighborhood
my wife and I lived in destroyed. We used to shop at the book store
and the malls below the World Trade Center and go to the movies across
the stree at the Battery Pary Cinemas. The whole time I lived in NYC,
I refused to go up to the top floor of the World Trade Center for the
same reason I don't jump out of planes. In short, I spent the rest of
the year angry, angry that our government has used 9/11 for it's political
purposes, angry that people went back to their selfish ways, and angry
that people could have so much anger that they would kill thousands
of people to send a message, to hurt us. I was back to my cynical self
until Sunday night. My wife and I were eating dinner and a program was
on about 9/11. I didn't turn the channel, (but I wanted to.) When I
saw the replays of people searching for their loved ones amidst the
rubble, I was hysterical and I cried into my food, broken down like
I was a year earlier. There are a lot of perspectives that make the
world go around. I don't want to see this country attack Iraq and I
don't want anymore suffering inflicted on bystanders in some poor Southern
country, but it looks like *** is determined to go ahead despite the
world's protests. I hate the way Amercicans turn everything into a cliche
and have to make a Holiday for everything, but human nature is unavoidable.
We tend to put things in groups. We focus on the firemen and police
officers who perished because we can turn them into symbols. Maybe it's
the common people who should be celebrated, and not just the ones who
died or walked away from this tragedy, but the ones who live peacefully
without judgement or hate every day. These are my heroes. I'm not going
to pretend what happened last September didn't change my life, but while
I rage, I will also cry, because it does break my heart at such a loss
of life in a place that was my home and was home to so many good people
from all around the world. I don't have any answers anymore than the
next person, but there is one thing I do know, the people I love, my
family, my wife and my few friends, are my heart, and I want to protect
them and anyone who can't protect themselves. I want to make this world
a better place, and I know the first step, is taking a step back and
evaluating the world we live in. There are many things we can do to
prevent this from happening again, and the last option should always
be war. Understanding, compassion, work and selflessness are a better
direction. I will die someday, but unlike some people, I want the earth
to be here after I am gone. There is still a lot of good in the world.
Sorry for the long post, but I had to throw my two cents in. Peace!

Once again, I must point out that you can take the Iraq Attaq poll here. Terry, I couldn't agree more about Carter. An honest man, a great man, largely unappreciated, presumably because of the "October Surprise." It's never bothered me that he's lusted in his heart, or that he sluts around. And about that U.N. stuff. Hasn't the U.N. largely served to justify whatever the U.S. has chosen to do since the mid-forties? We always forget that there was a League of Nations. Do you think the U.S. would join an organization like the U.N. today if they didn't already essentially control it? |

| Yeah, we put children in jail
for life, and the same people who are behind these acts are rabidly
opposed to abortion, but love the death penalty. Our country is full
of contradictions, and just like in other extremist nations, irrational
devotion to religion is destroying lives. People need to have the right
to worship the way they please, but these same people would be well
advised to start putting more stock in human lives instead of an unseen
GoD! I'm not saying I believe in a God or not, but if I do, it ain't
by the same interpetation of the idiots running this country. I'm going
to try and be the best person I can be in this life, and deal with what
happens after I'm dead when I get there. The religious right and the
ignorant and closed minded are going to have a lot more on their hands
to worry about than terrorists if they keep pushing their agendas on
us. They better hope the poor masses in America don't decide to educate
themselves and band together. America needs to be reeled in by the international
community.Can

The other day someone was making fun of my Euro-trashy style of dress. I said it made me a much less likely target for terrorist acts. You are so right - time for the big cup of reality-flavoured coffee... Speaking of a lack of reality....Only in the American legal system could two kids who had been abused and abandoned by adults their entire life have the possiblity of going to jail for life while their sexual abuser walks. The other bizarre thing about this case is the fact that by holding separate trials with a sealed verdict, the state (the prosecution) could have easily contradicted their own results and found both parties guilty of the same crime after having them testify against each other. |

A sad day for popular music when the two biggest names on the American scene are two white guys that look and act like white supremacists from Northern Michigan.Yeah, Eminem will hit a guy with glasses, but Moby'll probably cryogenically freeze his head or something.
