Great, Terry. America sucks. Next you're gonna tell me Saddam Hussein's a swell guy for granting all those prisoners amnesty. (Hmm, maybe he's not so bad after all. Looks like he's also giving CNN the pink slip...) Speaking of the American News Machine, thank God, it looks like they nabbed the D.C. sniper. With that wall-to-wall coverage, I forgot Russia even existed, didn't you?

You know, we wouldn't have all these problems if this guy were still around....

What is more appalling than O.J. not going to jail for a violent crime he obviously committed is the fact that he was a "hero" in the first place and that America doesn't give a *** about the worth of a human life as much as they do whether someone can carry a f*cking ball across a line. It's called apathy, and it is more American a trait than football or hot dogs, and apple pie. All of the principals that make this country great only work if people care enough to understand them, and protect them. Ultimately, the way of American life is a joke to most of the world and the country we love so much is filled with meat eating, beer drinking, violent animals. America is a cave where slimeballs like Dubya, O.J., Gary Condit, Clinton, and Mike Tyson are heroes. Athletes, movie stars, politicians, are all full of *** and America is hungry for more. We can't wait for the next celebrity to rise to stardom, and *** up, so we can all feel better about reporting in for a job that doesn't pay the bills and steals our youth and spirit. I don't really care about defending America's values anymore. I would prefer to go into the mountains and live with Buddhist monks and chant than give O.J. one more second of my mind's activity. There must be a bird I can watch fly or a sky that is bluer than I have yet to see. The minute we lose sight of the beauty of a single breath of fresh air and the joy of holding the hand of someone we love, is the moment we are all doomed. We're all a long way from that so long as a single person still cares about sustaining life and spreading joy and happiness. We are in "The Matrix."

Terry, this isn't the "honkey" thing. This is a rare instance in which people, no matter what their race or social standing, generally agree that O.J. Simpson did it. If he were a black, yellow, green or white man with less money, and less media attention, he'd be in jail. This was one of the most well-publicized and apalling miscarriages of justice in America, aside from certain recent Enron, Microsoft, or Bush family-related bullshit to cross the myopic media cross-hairs for a millisecond recently. Doesn't it bother you at all?

Everyone knows my man O.J. was in Chicago when that sh*t went down. People need to look a little deeper into that "white devil," Kato's alibi.

Time to revive the Chewbacca Defense (Real 125k).
Apparently, since Johnnie Cochran's only 90% sure, O.J. is reconsidering his innocence.

Thought this was nicely timed with the Murder Mystery Dinner at Robert Blake's former hangout.

That dot-org thing is AWESOME news. A lot of web people I deal with typically refer to Verisign as "Verislime" because of their domain marketing methods, which are identical to "phone slamming". Excellent news.

I worry about your TV habits though, Terry. Trigger Happy TV? How can you watch dreck like that when there's inspiring and thought provoking television like THIS on Monday night. What the eff are these women doing, anyway?

Funny. You never see MALE competitors embracing each other that way after a friendly game of "Put The Tire Log & Keg On The Wall for No Apparent Reason" , do you?

Well, elections are coming, Michael Moore's movie is coming out friday. Will people be shooting at the screen in protest? Will Bush have a hissy fit if he doesn't get his war? Did Ian really pay to see "Barbershop?" Scarier yet, he might have actually liked it. (Don't tell anyone about my love for the movie "Bring it On.") Why is anyone reading this when they should be watching "Trigger Happy TV," monday at 10:00 on Comedy Central? More blog goodness from a feisty twig soon.

We all need to download some illegal art once in awhile. Especially if Teletubbies & George Bush are involved. Hilarious. Be sure to read & disagree with the License Agreement.

By the way, turns out Moby was wrong. We're all made of meat.

Terry- weren't we just talking about how cool Jimmy Carter is, even though he lusted in his heart? (Waaayyyy down the page, here) Hope the Nobel Peace Prize still has some credibility after this travesty...

Sunday leaves me wishing Bush and Saddam could just have some hot, gay sex and get it over with. Things are blowin up all over the place and we all need a new religion, (everyone knows the old gods are so yesterday.) I wonder how O.J. Simpson and Gary Condit spent the day? I wonder what John Lennon would sing about if he were alive today? I wonder if the world is honestly supposed to be this messed up? Mickey Rourke should have been a huge star and I should have had Christian Slater's career. I wonder if Jackie Chan would do a buddy movie with me and Ian. It could be a modern day 3 Stooges. Woo Woo Woo, Nyuck, Nycuk.

Terry, if you feel the need to continue with this combative posturing, perhaps you should try the US Army blog, and while you're over there, get these guys somes guns and ammo.

After all the doom and gloom around here lately (see archives), I thought a little humour was in order. Apparently, the funniest joke has been scientifically established. The comments on this Metafilter post were perhaps funnier than the link itself. They've also listed the jokes' perceived funniness by nationality.
