I know what you mean about the muffler-sucking. Few things are more horrifying than being confined in a small space, for a small wage, with people with a small future (thank the lord we have a web site, huh?). Customers, however, aren't all they're cracked up to be either. My favorite retail query ever was the customer who walked up to me when I worked at a local independent bookstore and said "Excuse me, where's the non-fiction section?"
