Cartoon characters. The perfect enemy in a war against an abstract noun:
Apparently these are the members of a Detroit "sleeper cell" of al
Qaeda. or these people: But mostly, as much as sports bore me, I'm suspicious of Baseball. I think it's time the FANS went on strike. Although, admittedly, taking a symbol of American Goodness (baseball, apple pie, lemonade) and asking for more money for it is about as American as you can get....

I'd buy that for a dollar. Honestly, I love e-bay. I really do, but not as much as I love this site. What else I love, you ask? My new Reservoir Dogs special edition DVD. Whoa!!! What a great DVD.

Wow. Seems like you can find just about anything on eBay, not just Terry's brain cells (See below). Unfortunately, you might also see that thing pretty quickly removed (at least read the headline) from eBay as well. Maybe he should've tried PeePal. Er, I mean Paypal.

Honestly. Was it necessary to mention fish, oral surgery & porn in the same post? (By the way, how does one come up with 1,000 words for a porn review?) Design note: I'm gonna be archiving this page shortly, and making it easier for you to add links when you post. More soon. |

Yeah, there are certainly bigger fish to fry. I hope your mouth surgery goes well. I'm having a back to school sale in my brain this week to get rid of the wasted thoughts. Buy some dead brain cells of mine at e-bay while supplies last. I don't want to go back to fucking school, man. I just want to work on this site and my movie. I must be cranky because I had to write four, one thousand word porn reviews today. I am exhausted.

Not only does King *** seem determined to attack Iraq, congressional approval or not , It seems he'll have to kill a lot of "ambient personnel" to do so. Next thing you know he'll be signing a peace treaty with Poland . Hey. Starting today, let's pick on somebody else. This *** W. *** stuff is like shooting fish in a barrel. |

Pretty typical of the *** Baby to push an agenda through disinformation. Hasn't he ever heard of droughts? I have two thoughts on this one: 1.) Maybe he's just so bloody stupid that the current administration's staff and advisors send him out on these missions and he simply regurgitates whatever's in his briefs. 2.) He's actually a fully-functioning college-educated human being, and it's time to send out copies of *** Orwell's collected works with the next issue of TV Guide. |

Everywhere *** goes now, people are protesting. Hmmm, I guess people don't want to give *** free reign to clear trees for loggers. What is wrong with these tree huggers? Don't they know that getting rid of all of the trees will prevent them from burning down?

This woman is a lonely old hag who acts tough in front of the boys and probably cries herself to sleep every night. She is a bitter, ignorant cow. She should turn that gun on herself or stop telling people how they should live their lives.

Yeah, yeah Terry... BIG HUGS! I wuv oo tu! Now get back to work. I finally put up some of your new stuff (apparently, some people are less enthusiatic about the multiple Lord of the Rings release than you), but we still need to pick an "In the News" topic for the politics section. Like maybe something about why we're really attacking Iraq? Got any ideas? Speaking of staying alive, when I die, I want to do THIS. Except I'd make it $42.85 a day. |

Ian, it donned on me shortly after we finished our phone conversation what a wonderful and unique friendship we have. I believe the last time I saw you was in 1994, several months before I moved to New York. Back then my head was full of empty dreams, but in the back of my mind, I didn't think I would survive NYC and when I last saw you, I thought I was leaving a place where nothing EVER changed, and our lives had gone as far as they would. I always hoped you and I would work together and meet up again, but the truth is, I really loathed myself and didn't want to subject anyone else to my company. What struck me as being so wonderful tonight was how thankfully wrong I was. People are capable of amazing things and you and I saw the worst of each other, and I got much worse after leaving Ann Arbor before I finally got better, only recently. The point to this is there are only a couple of people I have kept close to me as friends, and a couple of them I still consider good friends even though we aren't on speaking terms, but there is nothing as satisfying as the warm happiness I experience when I am talking to you, and I know we are actually achieving our goals and that being your friend is very important to me. I never want to lose this connection between the two of us again. We had dreams and now we are back on track. Thank you for staying alive and staying such a good friend.

For some people, " enough money " is an oxymoron. Whatever happened to those Enron dudes, anyway? I mean the ones that didn't get shot ? You can bet this will be my first full blown rant. For now, something a little more light-hearted. Terry- Got your stuff. I'll put up the Final Cut review etc, asap --- in the meantime --- I didn't know you were still on the MOST WANTED list... |

Yes Terry. Cigarettes are poison. But so are books like "Motel Fetish", and I don't see you laying off the Taschen books any time soon. Are you at least in a support group? Who says I'm defensive about my smoking? I'm not defensive about my smoking... I know what you mean about the muffler-sucking. Few things are more horrifying than being confined in a small space, for a small wage, with people with a small future (thank the lord we have a web site, huh?). Customers, however, aren't all they're cracked up to be either. My favorite retail query ever was the customer who walked up to me when I worked at a local independent bookstore and said "Excuse me, where's the non-fiction section?" To which I replied: "See the 'Fiction' section over there?" They nodded. "It's everywhere else..." |

Ian, if `Ol Joe can quit, it might be time for you to. Christ, next thing you know Keith Richards will stop partying. Cigarettes are poison. Last week was one year free of the deadly cancer sticks, and my lungs thank me every day. Ian, I know youhave no intention of quitting, so this wasn't aimed at you. You'll be the first man to live to be 200.

Wow! A year away from retail really made me forget how much smarter I am than the other average person in retail. Talk about sucking on the end of a muffler. Hours and hours of helping people is paradise compared to those same hours listening to the hopes and dreams of sheep. I have so much to respond to regarding other Blogs here and the way this site is shaping up. "Ian, I am blown away by your ability to show up." (That is a quote from a Keanu movie I didn't see.

Terry- Sorry to triple post without you, and even more sorry to hear you have a day job. Thought you'd find this amusing --- Hot on the heels of Metallica, who enhanced their branding by suing their own fans, The following lawmakers: Delaware Democratic Sen. Joseph Biden Signed a letter to John Ashcroft, asking him to go after all you evil file-trading consumers. Nice to see some bi-partisanship on SOMETHING, isn't it? |

Yes
Terry, the evolving site layout is like a mother's
milk (that's a very weird news link) to me. Hopefully I'll
have things tweaked enough that it feels like home by Sunday. We need
to pick a main page topic to replace that definition, by the way, and
clean up the boards. I've archived the diablog here,
by the way.
