page will disappear. The "Obligatory" (http://www.echopraxia.org/much_oblogged.html)
will stay in the same place, but whenever it gets REALLY long, I'll archive
it, with a link to the archived pages. More on this as things move along.
RE: What you're doing --- it rocks. after I get things uploaded tonight,

rabid reporters are dying to know if the girls were raped and are trying
to ask every single question they can to get a hint. It is almost perverse.
All day since the rescue, the reporters have been beating around the ***,
looking for a clue to sexual assault. It is creepy. One of the girls is
a cheerleader and the photo they kept showing was extremly sexualized. America
can be so lurid and sick under the guise of concern.

that's my current apartment. I only put those pictures up to show Lori (who's
in Kenya, it's her apartment again if she ever wants it back, and I'm moving
next year anyway...) what I had done to the place. It used to have matchstick
blinds and nice lamps and didn't look like such a "Richard Gere - American
Gigilo - dude I'm such a cool 80's guy let's do some poppers" kind of pad....

we get very detailed logs for the site. for instance, from March 3 thru
March 28, 2002, there were 58 visitors (!). All they saw, I think, was
that old black & gray main page, or pictures
of my apartment . About the "talkback", the
answer is yes, it's next on my agenda, even before finishing layouts and
content. I haven't used the particular forum package that I'll be installing
before, and inevitably there are bugs as you set these things up.

must admit I've never heard of either. When were you a kid? I definitely
remember "The Prisoner", because I saw it on Canadian TV when it was in
its first run. For years I thought I was insane because NO-one new what
I was talking about. Now it's almost old hat. The only other British SciFi
I ever got into (even as a kid, Space 1999 bugged me) was "Red Dwarf". That
reminds me. I should pick up some Vindaloo and a pint and kick back with
a few episodes....

"Blake's 7" and "The Tomorrow People?" I used to have dreams as a kid from
seeing these two shows on tv and I never knew where they came from. Today,
while web surfing, I found out where these hazy dreams came from. Apparently,
they are being released on DVD soon? I'm going to have to take that plunge
and re-visit the past.

Okay. you probably can't tell I've done anything, but I have, especially on the Film page. I cleaned up a lot of the basic code, and need to start deciding how little sub-headings and sidebars should be inserted. I'm still pondering names for columns and that sort of thing as well. Super cool. Now I can replace Moby as the old fart producing hip music. Although I must say it would be way cooler to hang around with Angelo Badalamente or Brian Eno than David Bowie.
