Bless your heart, Ian. Let's do it and get Bush out of the White House! I don't like shady politicans running things, but I like it even less when it's someone with the connections with greed and tyranny that the Bush family has. This President, properly elected or not, has been too smug and secretive and it is time to end the strangle-hold the rich conservatives ahve over our freedoms. Clark `04!!!!

So true Terry. Saw Clark on "Meet the Press" again, and he's seeming a lot more self-assured. The biggest reason to NOT back Dean is because the Republicans ARE, and I think it's obvious why. What say we support Clark with the site? And what say we ditch this holiday blog?

The Iowa debates air today at 3 (Eastern Time,) on CNN. I watched some interesting discussions with John Kerry this morning, but I still have reservations. I'm sticking with Clark, but my support falls with anyone who opposses Bush. Democratic supporters really have to stop walking around claiming Bush has got it in the bag. It's one of the reasons that Ian and I prefer Independents. Bush has many months to hand out more sweetheart deals to the rich, and commit more troops to other regions for certain death. Nearly 500 dead American soldiers and counting is the best reason to remove Bush. We might still be playing cat and mouse with Saddam and the United Nations, but we'd still have those lives intact and there wouldn't be an increasing war cost. Let's not forget this.

For the new year, I think I wouldn't mind a new name and identity. I've been messing around with this random name generator. If you set the "obscurity factor" around 80, you get great names like Horacio Fritchley, Mohamed Wig, Thanh Tortu, or Lenny Monopoli. If nothing else, I could write a screenplay inspired by the weirdness of the names. I mean, what would a guy named "Thanh Tortu" be like?

Oops. Terry had posted this before we created this awful holiday page:

As 2003 draws to a close, I thought of some things I might like, and here they are: 1. Anne Coulter should admit she’s actually a liberal. She has gay friends, goes clubbing all night and has the mouth of a sailor. Her books are satire. No one could be that overtly hateful and mean it! Have a great 2004 Anne, you whoring fag-hag, right-wing nut-job! Anne, it’s actually right-wingers who hate America, because the lot of you have been working really hard to overturn everything America stands for, mainly freedom. 2. Bill O`Reilly recently lied about his books sales and it turned out that liberal books actually do sell better and that right-wing extremists can’t actually read, (they only buy the books to help sales of the soldiers of their cause.) Bill, impress us by admitting you are a lying bully. (I actually spoke to someone at a book store who went to high school with Bill. He told me Bill was just a dumb, bullying jock back then, so nothing has changed I guess.) 3. President Bush, OK I can’t ask you to change your ways, and I kind of like how determined you are, (even though you have no idea what you’re doing,) but you have to step down in November because the world is waiting to progress. No one, not North Korea, not Russia, not anyone wants to deal with you. The majority of the world is afraid of what you’ll do next to ruin the earth and make more people fight. George, your play-date is over. It’s time for your nap! I’m sure you were an amusing drunk, but you’re just scary as President. Besides, you and your people fixed the election last time. Do the right thing and lose honestly this time! Dick! 4. Bush supporters! Hey morons, please stop defending him because you think he’s doing a “good job!” Just say, he’s keeping me rich, and he’s fighting my cause. Don’t say he’s doing a good job because he is possibly the worst thing to happen to the world since, and yeah, I’m going to say it, Hitler! (Hitler took great pride in killing, as Bush does when it comes to the “enemy” or prisoners on death row. Hitler killed non-whites and waged a war against them, and Bush is responsible for the deaths of innocent Muslims, and some not so innocent Muslims in the Middle East. Hitler was a smug and deranged madman fighting for his twisted beliefs and this also describes George W. Bush!) 5. Stop using 9/11 as an excuse for terror! Bush has made America a terrorist nation! Our soldiers are doing a great job, but let’s not use them as tools of Bush’s war. As it is, we won’t be able to bring them home anytime soon because the fighting still rages. Libya just gave up their WMD program, so it’s Israel’s turn. Let’s cut the bullshit. No more war! Let’s make 2004 a year of peace and unity. Let’s take the power out of the hands of the right-wing extremists! That is all I ask for this year!

(my bad-Ian)

I have everything I could ever want so it is tough to imagine anything else, but I would like people to take a deep breath and respect each other and be kind. Peace is easily attained and given. Love and kindness are tools that are not difficult to wield. Ultimately, each of us needs to do our part to make the world a better place, but I'll save those remarks for my New Year's Blog. Happy Holidays to all!

I wish all the cows would go mad, and run for president. I wish humans grew a third set of teeth, so everyone could remember the joy of a visit from the tooth fairy. I wish we all kept in mind the advice of the Frito Bandito; that it is better to give than to receive...I wish everyone could stop for just a moment each day, and realize that we live on the only planet we know of that has life, and that it's hurling rapidly around a huge fiery orb, that is itself one of billions of orbs, hurling around a galactic center, and well, maybe today's not so bad...

I wish we were all more ourselves, because most of us are pretty decent folk. I wish we understood gravity, flying without airplanes would be cool. I wish money didn't exist, there's enough stuff for all of us. I wish...
